Denis Kelly

Denis has over 30 years’ experience at Senior HR Executive level, leading projects and initiatives in the areas of Organisation Development, Employee Relations, Restructuring, Performance Management and the Management of Change. He has worked extensively in the private, not-for-profit and Government Agency sectors.

An effective decision-maker, change agent and team builder with a strong track record of success in delivering key HR initiatives in support of overall business objectives, his career includes senior HR management positions in the health, transport and tourism sectors. More recently Denis spent fifteen years as HR Director with Fáilte Ireland – The National Tourism Development Authority where he lead the restructuring of the tourism agency sector. His particular areas of expertise include Strategic HRM, Organisational Development; Change Management, Mergers, Employee Relations and Performance Management.

As HR Director for the Irish National Tourism Development Authority (NTDA), he was responsible for the management of the HR elements relating to the restructuring of the Irish Tourism Agency sector including the establishment of Tourism Ireland (all-island tourism body) in 2001, the establishment of Fáilte Ireland - The National Tourism Development Authority (NTDA) in 2003, the integration of seven regional tourism authorities with the NTDA during the period 2006-2013.
