Establishing Bahrain International Investment Park for FDI and Growth

IDI partnered with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce to establish and operationalize BIIP. Through strategic planning, regulatory design, infrastructure development, and investor engagement, we created a globally competitive zone that attracts foreign investment, generates jobs, and accelerates economic diversification. By aligning education, employment, and regulatory frameworks with investor needs, BIIP set new benchmarks for transparency and export‑readiness, embedding a sustainable foundation for industrial and private sector growth.

Transforming Oman’s Special Economic Zones for Global Competitiveness

IDI partnered with Oman’s Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones (OPAZ) to deliver a multi‑year transformation program, building a globally competitive, investor‑ready ecosystem. Through an embedded delivery model, we co‑developed a strategic roadmap focused on governance, investor experience, and property solutions. By streamlining regulatory frameworks, enhancing service delivery, and strengthening institutional capacity, the program aligns zone operations with Vision 2040 and positions Oman as a premier gateway to regional and global markets.

Positioning Ras Al Khaimah as a Competitive UAE Destination

IDI was commissioned by the World Bank and Ras Al Khaimah to design a comprehensive Tourism and Property Development Strategy, positioning the Emirate as a competitive destination. We defined long‑term growth plans, advised on governance and resource planning, and identified tourism sites linked to themed product clusters. Market analysis shaped a suite of investable projects, showcased at a high‑profile investment conference that attracted early international interest. Our advisory extended to investor outreach, deal negotiation, and communications, laying the foundation for Ras Al Khaimah’s rise as an investment‑ready hub.

Advancing Turkey’s Research & Innovation Capacity

IDI supported TÜBİTAK, Turkey’s Scientific and Technological Research Council, in advancing integration into the European Research Area through Horizon 2020‑Phase II. Over two years, we delivered targeted training, mentoring, and outreach to boost participation, while developing digital tools and resources to extend access to research support. The engagement enhanced institutional competencies, improved research visibility, and laid a foundation for long‑term innovation‑led development and international collaboration.

Conservation Plan for Saudi Arabia’s At‑Turaif UNESCO World Heritage Site

IDI partnered with the Diriyah Gate Development Authority to update the Conservation Management Plan for the UNESCO World Heritage Site of At‑Turaif in Ad‑Dir’iyah, KSA. We assessed the site’s physical, regulatory, and stakeholder landscape, mapped management frameworks, and identified conservation priorities. Updated policies were formulated to guide sustainable development and heritage stewardship over the next decade. The plan equips DGDA with a practical roadmap to balance preservation with activation, anchoring At‑Turaif’s role in Saudi Arabia’s cultural tourism strategy.
